A Weekend in Vancouver BC

Christen and I spent the weekend in Vancouver BC wandering around. They have a great transit system but it just happens to be the most confusing bus system in the world. We still managed to find our way around (eventually) and explored the city a bit.

North Cascades Camping and HIking

Christen, Dillon, Aaron, and I went hiking and camping in the North Cascades this weekend. We spent the first day at Artist point above Mt. Baker ski resort. I honestly think this is THE most beautiful place in Washington state. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean.

We spent the second day hiking up to Blue Lake which is right next to Liberty Bell. We saw lots of people climbing and even one person flew off one of the peaks with a paraglider. I didn't see exactly where he launched from though.

This morning we did a short hike up Thunder Creek which is the one of the creeks that drains into Diablo Lake.
