Mono Lake

Day 2

I took some pictures along the Deschutes River yesterday. It's a little early in the season so there weren't too many rafters though. After that I went to Painted Hills which is part of John Day Fossile Beds National Monument. Tonight I'm in Reno and will be leaving early tomorrow morning toward Death Valley. What's up with OR and their ridiculous speed limits?!

It was 36 degrees this morning. It's already 60.

I'm currently headed south on 395 toward Cali. I was at Painted Hills in central OR last night. Fantastic weather! Should be near Lake Tahie tonight.
